Make a Page Secure
The purpose of securing a page is to make sure that no one but those with proper permissions are able to access that page. A website visitor trying to access a protected page will be prompted to login in order to see it. If they do not have valid permissions, (which need to be set by the administrator) they will be denied access.
- Within the page editor, choose the Advanced tab.
- On the left, select Access.
- The Default Access is set to Allow, meaning anyone can view the page. Please follow the appropriate section below to assign permissions based upon your needs.
If you want to limit its display to MORE THAN half the roles
- Leave the Default Access set to Allow.
- Uncheck the box next to a role that should be denied.
- For the same role, change the button selection to Deny.
- Repeat steps 2 & 3 for each additional role to deny.
If you want to limit its display to LESS THAN half the roles
- Change the Default Access button to Deny.
- Uncheck the box next to a role that should be allowed.
- For the same role, be sure the button selection is set to Allow.
- Repeat steps 2 & 3 for each additional role to allow.
