Edit Role Permissions

Role permissions change what users assigned to a specific role will have access to.

  • Access: Configuration>User Manager>Roles>Role List.
  • Click on the 'Keys' icon for the role you wish to edit.
  • Select the appropriate component's tab to the left. Each will represent the component's general access and if applicable, it's sub-sets of permissions. 

If a main component is enabled, sub-sets of permissions will appear below. These may be enabled or disabled.

  • The Default can be either Yes or No, depending on the role.
  • If the default is as intended (indicated by the value to the right), leave the box checked .
  • If you need to change the default, uncheck the box. A drop-down will appear to the right under the Current Value column.
  • Adjust the value.
  • Close the dialog box when done; permissions are saved automatically.
