Formatting Issues

When copying/pasting text from an external source into the editor, it is possible to run into formatting issues, whereas the text's display may appear messy or inconsistent.

A website is designed to utilize a select few fonts, styles, etc. to maintain a consistent, clean look. When the copied text's formatting differs to a high level from those standards of your website, you may encounter formatting issues. In comparison, it's like trying to install a software program with a Windows 2000 Operating System compatibility onto a Windows 10 Operating System. They have different properties and are not necessarily compatible with one another.

The editor is designed to convert external text and implement it in a manner that matches your site's standards. However, when obscure or excessive formatting from the outside source is used, it can lead to difficulty with the editor maintaining the website's standards. As a result, it may appear 'out of sorts' from your normal text.

To avoid these issues, first, choose your editor.
