Enable Auto-Response Email

The auto-response feature delivers an automated email to a website visitor who submits a form with their email address. This can be added to any website form. The subject and message fields are customizable.

  • Access: Components>Form Manager>Action Handler.
  • Open the form you would like to enable an auto response email for.
  • Select the Response tab.
  • Click Yes for Enable Auto Response (this activates the responder).
  • If you choose to attach a copy of the submitted form to the email, select Yes for Append Form to Email, otherwise leave at no.
  • Enter a Subject (this will appear as the subject line in the recipient's email).
  • Enter a Message (this will be the body of the email).
  • Scroll down and click Save.

The form's email element must have its Code field say either "email", or "email_address", otherwise it will not work correctly. See the screenshot below for reference.
