What is the Difference Between Web Traffic Report and Google Analytics?
Both systems help monitor the traffic of your website, but they are two COMPLETELY different things. Google Analytics is visitor based while the Web Traffic Report is based upon the server's download logs.
Access: Reports
Google Analytics
Google Analytics compiles data from web traffic on public pages. You must have a Google Analytics account linked to your website in order to login and view statistics. (The Executive Analytics option in the admin panel only directs you to Google's login screen). To create an account for free, click here.
If you are unsure if you already have an account, please submit a support ticket so that we may look into that for you. If you need to link your Analytics account to your website, click here.
Web Traffic Report
Web Traffic Report stats count everything that is 'downloaded' or accessed on the website using server logs.
