Editing Template/Application Pages

If you're trying to edit a page, but do not see it in the page manager, it is because it is a Template or Application page. These types of pages remain hidden from your regular list. They are incredibly important as they display the content created within different components. For example, the events your create (Content>Event Manager>Events) will display on your websites list of events page (type in" /calendar/list" after your website address) because of a small code in this page which sets the connection.

Small changes can be made here. It is extremely important to note that the code on the page should NEVER BE DELETED OR MODIFIED IN ANY WAY! This will cause for a disconnect between the page and its respective content.

To locate and edit these pages, follow the instructions below and use the table as a guide.

1. Access: Content>Page Manager>Page List.
2. Find the appropriate Component Type that you are looking to edit (provided in the table).
3. In the upper left search box, type in the respective Search Term.
4. In the middle of the page, select the checkbox for BOTH, Templates and Application Pages.
5. Click Filter.
6. Find the corresponding Component Page Name, and open the page to edit.
7. From here you can edit as if it was a normal page. Again, just make sure not to delete or alter the code.
