Linking to an Event Type (Category)

An event 'type' is essentially a category, displaying only events that are assigned to it. If you plan on linking to the event type, you will need to find it's URL.

Step 1: Find Your Event Code

• Access: Content>Event Manager>Event Types. 
• Write down the 6 digit ID number assigned to the event type you will be linking to. 

Step 2: Link to Event

From a Menu Item

• Access: Content>Menu Manager> then select the appropriate menu.
• Open up the menu item to edit.
• In the Link field, enter "/calendar/list/event_type_id,"
• At the end of the comma, enter in the 6 digit ID number from step 1. Example: /calendar/list/event_type_id,100003
• Click Save.

From Text or an Image

• Highlight the desired text or image to link from.
• Select the 'Link' icon.
• In the URL field, enter "/calendar/list/event_type_id,"
• At the end of the comma, enter in the 6 digit ID number. Example: /calendar/list/event_type_id,100003
• Click Insert.
