Adding a Bookmark (Anchor)
A bookmark (technically known as an anchor), will allow you to link to individual sections of a webpage. This comes in handy if your page has a large amount of content. By setting bookmarks, website visitors can be linked directly to the section they would like to view, eliminating the need to scroll to get there.
There are two steps to adding a bookmark:
1. Setting the bookmark.
2. Setting the link.
1. Setting the Bookmark
The bookmark's placement will determine where on the page the link (in step 2) will jump to.
- Place your cursor to the very left of the heading or text that begins the section.
- Select the 'Bookmark' icon from the toolbar.
- Enter a Bookmark Name.
This should be as short as possible, preferably one word. If multiple words are required, separate with a hyphen (-).
- Select Insert. The bookmark icon will be placed into the content.
2. Setting the Link
The link will direct to the bookmark's position within the page, bringing its content to the top of the visitor's screen (as long as there is sufficient content to follow it). There are three different locations in which the link to the bookmark can originate from:
1. Same Page
2. Different Page/Module
3. Menu Item

- Highlight the text/image which will serve as the link to the bookmark.
- Select the 'Link' icon.
- In the left hand panel, choose Place in this document.
